I purchased these placemats because I wanted placemats that are easy to clean, solid (not woven), and attractive. These placemats are perfect! They are so easy to clean - I simply place them under the water, add a bit of soap, clean with a sponge, and done! They dry really quickly, which is a huge plus. They are really pretty. One suggestion I have is I wish there were solid colors offered as well. I do like the marble look to these, but I would love to purchase a solid color as well. I would be careful with pasta sauce, since it will stain these placemats. The placemats are durable, and they will not tear or crinkle easily. Overall, I am thrilled with this purchase. I will order these again in the future for sure.
